Blackbeard is an illustration created by words relevant to Blackbeard the pirate, and the privateer, also known as Ed Teach. This art would be great printed on a poster or shirts for fans of pirates.
This poster was created for a monthly recurring event called “The Shakedown”. The event was themed with era specific music from the 60s-70s, and all the DJs played only vinyl music. Gogo dancers dressed to evoke the dancers of the era were also a staple of the event. This design was inpired by the game Twister.

Designed for a monthly event by Texas Burlesque peepshow, this art evoked the futuristic and specific art of the space race3 and comic books. Since the event was burlesque, creating the long legs of a female figure and scaling space elements like orbit lines of planets, space ships, and stars were used to create the atmosphere for the art of the event.
A poster for the Texas Burlesque Peepshow production team featuring a geometric stock background. The photos of performers used to create elements of good design using color, space, lines, hierarchy of information and symmetry all together make this a well designed poster for the event.
